The Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, Carolina Valdivia, headed today, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mounia Boucetta, the Fifth Meeting of Political Consultations between Chile and Morocco.

During the meeting, the parties noted with satisfaction the excellent level of bilateral relations in various areas, while agreeing to continue deepening the bilateral dialogue.

The Cooperation Agreement between the Moroccan Academy of Diplomatic Studies and the Andrés Bello Diplomatic Academy was also signed on the occasion. Its purpose is to strengthen the academic relationship between the two study centres, allowing the establishment of a dynamic and lasting cooperation framework for the training of young diplomats.

Previously, on October 10, 2018, the Republic of Chile and the Kingdom of Morocco signed, in Rabat, a Memorandum of Understanding by which they created the Joint Committee on Trade and Investment aimed at facilitating and giving greater impetus to economic trade relations between the two countries.
