Foreign Affairs Minister Alberto van Klaveren talks with US Secretary of State

This afternoon, Foreign Affairs Minister, Alberto van Klaveren, received a telephone call from his US counterpart, Antony Blinken.
During the contact, the first since the Minister van Klaveren took office, both authorities highlighted the level of bilateral relations, in the year that marks 200 years of diplomatic relations and 20 years since the signing of the Free Trade Agreement.
The conversation also highlighted the common ground between the two countries on issues such as democracy, human rights and the green economy.
