Minister Ampuero attends meeting with the President of the European Commission

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Ampuero, participated alongside the President of the Republic, Sebastián Piñera, in today's meeting with the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, in which they discussed the modernization of the trade agreement between Chile and the European Union, and new cooperation mechanisms.

On the occasion, the President recalled the ties that have historically joined Chile to the EU, along with highlighting the commercial relevance that this bloc of nations represents for Chile. The European Union is the country's third largest trading partner and the largest foreign investor in Chile.
