Minister Ampuero arrives in Quito to begin his visit to Ecuador

Foreign Minister Roberto Ampuero arrived this afternoon in Quito, Ecuador, for a visit to that country.

The Secretary of State was received at the Mariscal Sucre Airport by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador, Andrés Terán, and by the Director of Ceremonial and Protocol, Juan Holguin Flores. Chilean Ambassador to Ecuador Eduardo Tapia also waited for the Foreign Minister upon his arrival.

Tomorrow the Secretary of State will meet with his counterpart, José Valencia.
