Two Chilean girls were awarded prizes in the contest "Best Use of Sixth Grade and Children's Painting", organized by the Mexican Agency for Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), in which children from 18 Latin American countries participated.
Two winners per country were selected in the competition. In the case of Chile, the winner in the sixth grade category was Javiera Jaramillo; in painting, the winner was Constanza Pérez.
The Director of AMEXCID hosted a breakfast at the Mexican Foreign Ministry, where all the winners were welcomed and accompanied by their respective ambassadors, including the Chilean Ambassador, Domingo Arteaga.
The prize consisted of a one-week trip to Mexico, where they will visit the main attractions of the city and nearby places, such as the archaeological zone of Teotihuacan.
