The Andrés Bello Diplomatic Academy, in conjunction with Fundación Imagen de Chile conducted the Seminar "Diplomacy and Country Image," at the headquarters of ACADE.
The seminar was inaugurated with a greeting from Foreign Minister Alfredo Moreno, who is in Paramaribo, Suriname, participating in the Summit of Heads of State of UNASUR. Trough a video, Minister Moreno highlighted the importance of this meeting and the use of the Digital Platform www.apuntesinternacionals.cl as a vehicle for the implementation of Public Diplomacy.
The seminar was chaired by the Director of ACADE, Ambassador Pablo Cabrera, and the Director of Studies of Fundación Imagen de Chile, Elvira Chadwick, who spoke about the different variables that combine in the identity, image, and reputation of our country. Meanwhile, the panel of experts was comprised of professors of ACADE Paula Broitman and Claudia Labarca, along with journalist Libardo Buitrago.
The event was broadcasted via streaming to the entire network of embassies, consulates and missions of Chile abroad.
