Taking account of the recent developments and the domestic political situation in the Kingdom of Thailand, where an increase in acts of violence has been recorded in certain cities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile – through the General Directorate for Consular and Immigration Affairs – has instructed the Consulate of Chile in Bangkok to keep a close and permanent contact with the Chilean resident community.

Likewise, those who are planning to travel to Thailand are recommended to take self care and act with prudence, avoiding to become involved in hazardous situations.
