President Piñera holds meeting with President of Peru

In the framework of the Second Summit of CELAC being held in Havana, Cuba, the President of Chile, Sebastián Piñera met this afternoon with the President of Peru, Ollanta Humala.

This is the first meeting between the two heads of state after The Hague-based International Court of Justice rendered its Judgment in the case concerning maritime delimitation between Chile and Peru. Also present were Foreign Minister Alfredo Moreno and his Peruvian counterpart Eda Rivas, Chile's President-elect Michelle Bachelet and future Foreign Minister Heraldo Muñoz.

Earlier, President Piñera gathered with Mexico's President Enrique Peña Nieto and Colombia's President Juan Manuel Santos. The foreign ministers of the two countries, Chile's President-elect and the future foreign minister also took part in these meetings.
