The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Heraldo Muñoz, met this afternoon with the Chairman of Thailand's National Committee for the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council, Dr. Narongchai Akrasanee, who attended the meeting accompanied by the Vice President of Bangkok Bank, Kanit Si.
Dr. Narongchai is in Chile presiding over a Thai business delegation that has held a series of meetings with their counterparts from the Industrial Development Association (SOFOFA), in order to set up the "Chile-Thailand Business Council."
The delegation is composed, among others, by Arin Jira, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries and Rattikul Chansuriya, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
