Vice Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay met to analyze United Nations Mission in Haiti

The Vice-Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay met this Thursday to analyze the standing of the United Nations Mission for Stabilization in Haiti, Minustah.

The Chilean delegation was headed by the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Edgardo Riveros, and the Vice-Minister of Defense, Marcos Robledo. Argentina was represented by its Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eduardo Zuain and its Defense Vice-Minister, Jorge Fernández; Brazil was represented by its Secretary General for Foreign Affairs, Eduardo dos Santos and the Joint Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Army General José Carlos De Nardi; and on the part of Uruguay, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luis Porto and the Defense Vice-Minister, Jorge Menéndez, were also present.
