The Under-Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Edgardo Riveros, will travel tomorrow to Panama to hold a High-Level Political Dialogue with the authorities of that country, and to participate in the closing ceremony of the "First Regional Meeting: Transparency Network and Access to Public Information," at which time the progress and challenges of transparency and access to public information in the world will be addressed.
During his visit, he will meet with Vice-President of the Republic and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama, Isabel de Saint Malo, and he will hold a High-Level Political Dialogue with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Panama, Luis Miguel Hincapié.
Similarly, Under-Secretary Riveros will hold meetings with the Minister of Canal Affairs, Roberto Roy; with the President of the Supreme Court, Judge José Ayú Prado; and the President of the Legislative Assembly, Rubén de León.
To conclude the visit, Riveros will travel to Ecuador to participate in the Ninth Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), and also to accompany President Michelle Bachelet at the Fourth CELAC Summit of Heads of State and Government.
