The Hague:
José Miguel Insulza is presented as new Agent before the Court in The Hague
The Agent of Chile before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), José Miguel Insulza, was received today by the Secretary of that body, Philippe Couvreur, at its headquarters in The Hague.
Insulza, who was accompanied by co-agent and Chilean Ambassador, María Teresa Infante, attended the ICJ to present himself to the authorities of the legal establishment, as the new representative of Chile, in the event that the Court continues with the demand of Bolivia.
Agent Insulza's visit to the Court in The Hague is the last leg of his tour of several countries to meet with foreign lawyers who make up the Chilean defense team.
