Foreign Minister Muñoz met with IACHR Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Speech
The Minister of Foreign Relations, Heraldo Muñoz, held an audience today with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Speech, Edison Lanza, who was invite by our country to present the report on "State of the Freedom of Speech in Chile" which was elaborate after his visit on 2016.
At the meeting, they discussed the contents of the report and they addressed the situation of Freedom of Speech both at a national and at a regional level. The Foreign Minister also renewed Chile's commitment with an effective and efficient Inter-American Human Rights System that facilitates the comprehensive development of the human person.
